Since I broke my silence and revealed the sexual abuse I suffered as a minor at the hands of a private tutor, as well as the vicious smear campaigns aimed at silencing my testimony, these campaigns have only intensified. The more I spoke publicly, the more aggressive they became.

Recently, I have read some people saying that they believe the victims, but this is not true. Many know what happened and yet they ignore it. Information is even deliberately concealed. It is not just that they do not believe me: there are those who, knowing the truth, hide it. In doing so, they are doing exactly what the abuser has always done: silencing and crushing me.

Those who did listen to me, believe me and have supported me from the beginning are my colleagues at CREA, who continue to stand by me despite the violence of the campaign against them. Among them, the person receiving the most reprisals is, of course, Ramón Flecha.

For more than twenty years, since I broke my silence, the abuser has been waging a campaign of false accusations from anonymity. This campaign has enjoyed significant public support on three occasions: in 2004, 2016 and now in 2025. The anonymous accusations being spread against me and those who support me today are exactly the same — even copying phrases — as those that this child abuser has repeated for years. Many of those who say they ‘believe the victims’ deny me that status, while granting it to those who revictimise me and isolate those who stand by me. And they do so knowingly.

It is extremely serious to submit to an abuser when the truth is known. Consciously concealing it and using it to serve one’s own interests reaches a macabre and unprecedented level of evil and violence.

In addition, eight CREA interns recently reported alleged abuse of power by senior female professors to the equality commission. Both CREA and Ramón Flecha and I have supported the alleged victims. However, many of those who claim to believe the victims also deny these eight young women their status as victims and attribute it to those accused of alleged abuse of power.

I have suffered violence continuously since I was a minor. What you are doing these days is revictimising me even more deeply, with very serious consequences for my health, and you all know it. You are perverting the slogan ‘I believe you’ by denying the identity of victims to those of us who are victims and granting it to those who attack us. You are repeating exactly what my abuser has always said. All of this is documented and will come to light at the right time and through the appropriate channels.

You will not succeed in silencing us. Those of us who listen, believe and support the victims will continue to raise our voices.
