Omertá (134): Harassers in favour of school failure

The school had gone in a single year from having the lowest results of its Region to surpassing the average (see graph). A small part of the faculty confronted the management team and used as their main weapon the research center that advised them, they even argued that, if they continued to achieve improvements, the administration would end up taking away the resources they received precisely because they had bad results.

When this information has been published in other media, the DF has collected testimonies that reveal a very important issue for any feminist: Isolating Gender Violence (IGV). That small proportion of faculty would not have achieved their goal of returning to poor results had it not been for their alliance with university sexual harassers and their accomplices. The first teacher who became nervous about this improvement acknowledged in writing that she searched the internet for something that could help her in her goal. There she found the defamations that the harassers had poured against the victims of gender violence at the university and the faculty who supported them. Quickly teacher and bullies got in touch through the social media and then in person. The moment was inclined to destroy this improvement because university authorities had decided to reinstate in his post the Spanish professor who has received the most complaints and to grant him again the contact and power over the students. Together they launched with more force than ever a great dissemination of the defamations that a teacher who sexually forced underage students to whom he gave private lessons had invented.

With that campaign, they managed to stop the school debate from talking about the improvements achieved and how to consolidate and feed them and to focusing on the defamations creating a division and a confrontation between two sectors of the faculty and the very educational community that made it impossible to consolidate the improvement of coexistence that had also been achieved.

That sector of the faculty, the university bullies and their accomplices celebrated with great satisfaction what they considered a great victory. However, the university and social transformations initiated by the Metoo University movement achieved in the following years changes that make the previous impunity impossible towards such serious acts. The children had during that short period of time some improvements that did not disappear completely and that in many cases have remained as a reference that nobody can take away from them and is helping them a lot in their lives.
