Information received from various consulted sources confirms that some media outlets have fallen for a trick designed by a child abuser over twenty years ago. His first campaign was in 2004 on Indymedia, the second one in 2016, in print and on television, and now the same pattern is being reproduced once again.

This is a pattern that I publicly denounced on November 11, 2024. His attack on those who supported me when I broke the silence about the sexual abuse I suffered as a minor follows the same strategy. He uses the Nazi propaganda tactic popularly known as «a lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth”. However, what the abuser, and his accomplices – each of whom is perfectly aware of the sexual abuse committed and knowingly submits to his defamation strategy – fail to consider is that today it is very easy to verify their strategy. The trick is based on the following steps, which occurred in both 2004 and 2016:

  • False complaints are filed with the University of Barcelona, attempting to get them forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.
  • These false complaints are spread through journalists who lend themselves to this trick.
  • After a few months, the prosecutor’s office dismisses the complaints without even needing to ask questions or request evidence against the individuals who were the subject of the complaint.
  • The journalists do not issue retractions, citing freedom of expression, saying that they were not asserting the truth of these complaints, but merely stating that they had been filed.
  • Those who filed the complaints continue, throughout their lives, primarily anonymously, to claim that they «were reported for» all the false things that were said.
  • I have legal documentary evidence that one of the main people behind this entire isolating gender violence campaign is the private tutor who sexually abused me as a minor.

This abuse of media power is the best weapon child molesters possess. Scientific research in journalism has identified this strategy to silence victims and their supporters, and I also know it firsthand as a director of journalism at my university. Individuals who abuse their power through sexual or workplace harassment, and their accomplices, use this to keep their victims isolated so they cannot report. The harm caused to the few people who support them and their families, including their children, has lifelong professional, personal, and health consequences. They become the example used by most people to justify why they do not dare to offer support.

Anyone who participates in these defamatory campaigns does so knowingly, revealing their true interests, which are not to protect victims, but quite the opposite.

The hope, and the good news, is that today citizens no longer so easily believe repeated lies, because they have more direct access to truthful information through social media. Media outlets no longer hold absolute power over information; on the contrary, only excellent media are regarded as reliable sources, while others become mere puppets of yellow journalism.
