One of the concerns is the negative impact of rumors, misinformation about health that, in the worst situation, cause avoidable deaths. We would like to promote a solution for that for european countries and beyond.

The vaccine is that citizens could share more scientific evidence than rumors, and one crucial step is to share a common arena for overcoming false information. Citizens play a vital role in being promoters of science versus misinformation that overcomes this infodemia.

This Dialogic Fact Science Platform is an innovative solution to spread quickly evidence for overcoming misinformation. Citizens could be engaged with science spreading quickly the evidence.

How it works?

Imagine that a mother has listen that children are not in danger with Covid-19, she has a doubt about it.  She is receiving contradictory messages through TV, Whastapp, social media, and it is impossible to know what is the real information about it.  She can access to the platform to check if this doubt is already explained, and if not, she can send it.

Once she sends her doubt to platform, the citizen network begin to collaborate searching what the journals are publishing about that, once evidence are founded, fact science team prepares a post publishing the doubt and evidence founded, as well as one minut podcast for sharing quickly in social media channels.

This dialogic process allows to promote a quick access of citizens to the science, being a common arena to share doubts and evidence for overcoming quickly misinformation.

In this way two results are achieved, one of them the mitigation of fake news, and two promote science literacy to the citizens for spreading science through social media, that it is the vaccine for overcoming false information.
