Omertá (81): Attacking scientific evidence and the victims to cover up what is unjustifiable
Luis says whenever he has a chance that there is no such thing as scientific evidence and hoaxes, that there are those who call what they think scientific evidence and who say that what others think are hoaxes. He also attacks victims of gender-based violence (GBV) and those who support them.
It wasn’t always like this. He used to love the scientific people who provided the scientific evidence that improved educational outcomes and supported victims of GBV. He collaborated with them and they obtained funding to implement the scientific evidence; the day after achieving it and after celebrating together, Luis had completely changed; decided to dedicate the money from the financing to other “needs”.
The aforementioned scientific people decided to withdraw and since then, for Luis, anything goes as long as he justifies the unjustifiable. He did not hesitate to go from defending to attacking the victims and those who have supported them. He continues to question the scientific evidence that he previously defended to justify having dedicated the funding that had been obtained for that evidence to other “things”.
The same feudalism that attacked Galileo for contributing scientific evidence was the one that wanted to maintain feudal sexual oppression. Not surprisingly, many of those who attacked the scientific evidence are now also attacking the victims of GBV.
